How do I share Turbotax 2020 Windows version with family member?

Hi,

This year we have to file return in 2 states due to Pandemic. I've purchased Turbotax from Amazon, installed and activated. Created an Intuit account and downloaded the second state.

I think I can share the activation code and my intuit account. This will allow my family member to download and install both states. Is this correct?

At the time of e-filing tax, do we need to use the Intuit account?

You will need to use the account to download the product which is then installed on your individual computers; the download product allows for e-filing up to 5 tax returns; the FAQ below provides further details:
