How do I remove my personal exemption if my daughter claimed me as a dependent?

If your return has not been filed or it has been rejected take the following steps to remove your personal exemption.

1)    Sign into TurboTax Online

2)    Continue your return by click My TurboTax > Tax Timeline > Take me to my return. (If rejected, you may need to click on the Fix Now button or go the the 'some things you can do' section and click Add a State. )

3)    Go to Personal Info > click Edit to the right of your name.

4)    Scroll down to Question 3 - Someone else can claim me on their tax return.  

               a.       If you select yes – someone can claim you

               b.      If you select no -  you claim yourself
