How do I properly enter my 1099Q amounts so that it is not added to by taxable income?

If all of the 1099Q distributions were sent directly to the college and paid qualifying education expenses then you don't need to enter that form at all ... but if you do it is done in the education expenses section where you must also enter all the education expenses it covered ... that way it will zero out and none is taxable income.
