How do I not import my information from last year?

If you are using online TurboTax and you use exactly the same account and user ID that you used for your 2024 return, your 2024 information will transfer automatically. If you use a different account and user ID, the information will not transfer.

If you are using desktop download software, it asks you if you want to transfer your 2024 information, so you can choose not to transfer if you do not want to.
