How do I know if my son was claimed on my taxes or not? I put him down as one, but it isn't showing him on there.

How do I know if my son was claimed on my taxes or not? I put him down as one, but it isn't showing him on there.

Open your return and go to Personal Info. Make sure your son is entered as your dependent in this section.

Also, you can View or Print your return and check the Dependent section on Form 1040.
