How do I import my w2 if I have misplaced the original?

Misspelling the name on the W-2 will not matter as it only goes by the numbers on the W-2 and payer's EIN.

So if this is the only reason for the import you do not need to do this.

And if you do this, make sure what you entered gets deleted.
