There are several places. While preparing your return, the ovals at the top of the screen show the refund or amount owed for state and federal and will show the final in this same once you are complete and filed with your return anytime you come back into the return. On a saved .pdf of your return will show your refund for both state and federal on their respective cover pages. Also, when you are filing, the refund or amount owed is shown as you complete the process.
If you have already filed or completed your tax return, you can find the amount of your federal and state refunds (or balance due) by looking at the top of your screen when you log into TurboTax. At the very top of the screen it will show either "Federal Refund" and an amount in green or "Federal Tax Due" and an amount in red. Next to the federal amount, it will show your state name and either "refund" or "tax due."
You can also look on your 2019 Form 1040 line 21a. To view a copy of your return, click on Tax Tools from the menu on the left-hand side and then Print Center. Click on Print, save or preview this year's returns.
(Note: You will need to pay your TurboTax fees before you will be able to print.)
