 EIN stands for Employer Identification Number. It'll be in Box b of your W2. It will say Employer's FED ID number

You will find your employer's Employers Identification on Form W-2 in Box b Employer identification number (EIN) number.  On Form 1099-MISC it is shown in the box PAYER’S TIN

Contact your payroll department they will be able to provide you with the EIN.

This is simply not correct. You are giving the EIN. She is asking for EAN. EIN is federal employer identification number. EAN is for unemployment.
