There is more than one type of PIN.  More info is needed:

How you need to proceed depends on the rejection error code and/or message you received.   So we can tell you what to do when you provide that.

Also, what is the filing status of the return; is it a married joint return or just you?

A 6-digit PIN is an Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN).   Not everyone will have one of those--only victims of ID theft who were assigned one by the IRS, or those filers who opted-in to get one voluntarily.  For those who have to use one, a new IP PIN is provided by the IRS every calendar year.   If an IP PIN is causing an issue, the rejection error code and message should say so.   If your issue is with an IP PIN, we can tell you what to do when you report back with the error code/message.

There is also a 5-digit PIN that everyone encounters on the signature page when efiling.   It is how one "signs" the return.   It can be (and the page will say so) any 5 digits of your choice, except it cannot be all zeros.   It does not have to be the same one used last year.  You can use a different one every year.

Since we don't yet know what your rejection error code/message is, does it happen to state that either the prior-year AGI or prior-year PIN doesn't match the efile database?   If so, that rejection is most likely due to a 2023 AGI issue, not a 5-digit PIN issue, since the 5-digit PIN can be anything you choose.   Again, we can tell you what to do when you report back with the rejection error code/message and whether or not you are filing a joint return.
