How do I fill out my taxes? I collected unemployment due to covid

Enter all of your information as you normally would.  The following Help Article explains how to enter unemployment:  Where do I report a 1099-G for unemployment or paid family leave?

TurboTax will automatically account for whether or not you qualify for the up to $10,200 exemption of unemployment income on your return.

I didn't recieve my 1099-G untill AFTER I filed. My wife earned $6,125, and paid $616.00 Federal Tax! Do we get that back!!??

Thank You Very Much!!

Edit: I did Not amend my return!!

You will have file file an amended return to enter the unemployment and taxes withheld. Please wait until your original return has been processed and see How to amend a tax return to get a refund on the taxes paid (if you qualify for the unemployment exclusion).

If your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) is less than $150,000, then you can exclude up to $10,200 of unemployment compensation paid in 2020 from your taxable income. Amounts over $10,200 for each individual are still taxable.
