How do I file my grandsons 2019 federal tax return for free

If you want to file for free you can fill out the forms by hand. Here are some basic forms…..

You missed the deadline for filing for free using TurboTax.  When the online software re-opens in early December it will be for 2020 returns only-- no other year.  Use the paper forms if your grandson has a simple return--and going forward -- be more aware of the deadlines.
