How do I file an additional W-2 for 2016 wages?

I filed 2016 return, no issues. I retired Jan 2, 2016. After filing an additional W-2 was sent showing missed wages paid by the company I worked for. How do i file an additional W-2 for 2016 wages?

You cannot add the form to your 2017 taxes. Instead, you would need to amend your 2016 tax return. I am attaching the instructions below.
