Maybe when you try to check on the IRS refund site you are using the wrong information. You need to use your filing status, your Social Security number, and the EXACT amount from line 20 of your Form 1040. Sometimes users are confused about the amount of their federal refund and enter an amount they saw in the TurboTax summary that showed the difference/sum of federal and state refunds. Look again at your tax return and use the refund amount you see on line 20.
