How do I file 2018 estimated self employment tax when I wasn't self employed last year?

To calculate your 2018 estimated taxes (on a new self-employment venture) and print payment vouchers (before filing):

1. Sign In or Open TurboTax.
2. Select "Take me to my return"
3. Select "Search" or "Help" icon.
4. Type "1040-ES" and select "Jump to 1040-ES" 
5. Select" No" to: "Do you want to change your W-4 withholdings for 2018?" 
6. Press "Review Now" on the "Review Your Estimates" screen
7. Answer the interview questions based on your 2018 tax estimations.
8. Click "Yes" on the "Print Vouchers" screen to print your 2018 1040-ES payment vouchers.
