Nine states — Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming — have no state income taxes.
As your state, Nevada has no state income tax, it is not in the drop down menu of Box 13 of form W-2G. Just leave boxes 13 and 14 blank even if NV is listed in box 13 and box 14 is filled with an amount on your form W-2G.

I have a W2-G from Nevada (CA resident) and I am unable to proceed in TurboTax with box 13 blank, even though it is blank on the W2-G. I've selected <Blank> in TurboTax but it will not apply. How do I get past this error? Thank you
If your form has nothing shown for the state ID number, no state winnings, and no state tax withheld, then don't choose anything from the drop-down list of state names and leave the other state fields blank. This should resolve the error. The instructions for Boxes 13-18 indicate "Leave blank if empty on your form".
Box 13 on Form W-2G is for the State payer ID number. TurboTax also provides a drop-down menu to choose the name of the state, which is actually not shown in box 13, but only in the payer address field.
If you live in California, a state with income tax, you only need a payer ID number if there was California withholding entered. If not, don't select California and leave the other state boxes blank.
See this TurboTax tips article for more information on Form W-2G.
