How do I enter a child's name with a first, middle and two last names? 4 names.

It could actually be a first name, 2 middle names and last name.

Turbotax only lets me enter 1 middle initial.  Do I hyphen the two last names?

• It doesn’t matter. The key characters are the first 4 of the last name which are matched with the social security number. The name should match what is on the social security card.

No, it didn't work because we don't know if we should use both last names, or hyphenate them or use the first last name, or use the 2nd last name.

Try a hyphenated last name.

I ended up using a hyphenated 2 last names but only because we found the last yr return and saw how it was listed.
