How do I download information, dividends & sales, from a brokerage after I have checked the box that I would enter the data myself?

You need to delete that 1099-B entry that you started entering yourself and then you can add a new 1099-B form and select that you want to download that brokerage information.  See sample screen for the delete option.

To go back to the Investment Income (1099 B) section of TurboTax, take the following steps:

From within your federal return, type "1099-B" in the FIND field at the top of the screen.  Select "Jump To 1099-B" and you will be brought to this section of TurboTax.  Here is where you can delete your previous entry, plus you can select that you want to add more sales.  Say Yes, you received a 1099-B statement and then you should be brought to screen to select your bank or brokerage firm to download.
