How do I change my status to "claimed as dependent"?

I've completed my taxes but have not filed yet. I've just found out my parent claimed me as a dependent on their taxes. How do I change my status to being claimed as a dependent before filing my return?

Click on the Personal Info tab and you'll arrive at the Personal Info Summary page.  You'll see your name below the page title, with an Edit button next to it.  Click Edit and you'll advance to the Your Personal Info page.

Scroll down the page and you'll check the "yes" box next to Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return.  You'll then check "yes" again to Will this person claim me on their 2016 return.  That will change your dependency status.
