No need to change it.  It is only good for one year. The IRS will send you a CP01A notice with your new IP PIN by early January of 2021. That's the one you'll need to file your 2020 return.

IP PIN

 

An Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) is a 6-digit number that the IRS gives taxpayers who were victims of tax-related identity theft.  The IP PIN validates a Social Security number's true owner and prevents future tax fraud.
