How do I change my filing status from single to head of household?

I didn't see filing status when I scrolled down and can't find how to change my filing status?

Filing status is chosen in the My Info section of TurboTax.

Revisit that section and edit your information to change your filing status

Start by choosing Single or Married Filing Separately and when you enter a dependent, if you qualify it will change it to Head of Household.  You can't check the HOH box until you have entered dependent info and ssn.

Thanks. My son, who lives here, doesn't qualify as a dependent and my ex husband lives here as well. (it's complicated). I think since I pay all the bills I should qualify as head of household but I don't see the option to change it in the program. Grrrrrr.

@gbutter2019  Enter your son's info as if you were going to claim him as a dependent.  You'll have an option not to claim him but use him for purposes of claiming head of household.

Your ex will not qualify you as Head of Household.  Is your son an adult?
