    You can either post, or import your W-2 in TurboTax

     

    To enter a W-2 Manually

    1. Under Federal
    2. Click Wages & Income a menu will appear.
    3. Select Job (W-2) [Add/Edit]
    4. If your old W-2 is listed - you can [Review] and post it
    5. To post the new W-2
    6. [+ Add a new W-2]
    7. If asked identify the person - select the person it belongs to
    8. Enter employer EIN
    9. You will see Great news! We can import your W-2 info automatically.
    10. Scroll to [Change how I enter my form]
    11. [Type it myself]
    12. Post Employer Info
    13. Post your W-2

    Its a W2-PR, from Puerto Rico, not a regular W2. Thanks

    If you are a US resident but paid by Puerto Rico company, enter the W2-PR into Turbo Tax you can follow this link on How to Enter W2-PR. 

     

    If you need to file with Puerto Rico, you can file the Puerto Rico state return directly with the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
