If you are using the Online version and want to enter business expenses, you need to upgrade to the Self Employed version. Sorry, that is how TurboTax works.

My wife is retired and not employed. She received 800$ jury duty, and then contributed the 800$ to Roth IRA. turbo tax message is she has earned income of 0?
