How can I attach detail thousands transactions to form 4797 part II as an active day trader using efile

I purchased TurboTax Home & Business to file my tax return, as I need to include Form 4797 for my active day trading. However, when attempting to file electronically, I encountered an issue because I could not attach the detailed trading transactions to Form 4797. Could you make it possible to attach an Excel file with these transactions to Form 4797?"

You cannot attach an Excel file to TurboTax, and I am not aware of any professional tax software that allows you to attach an Excel file.  They only allow PDF attachments.  You will have to print and mail your detail of trading transactions, along with form 8453 to the IRS.

We can convert Excel files to PDF, but TurboTax does not support attaching PDF files. Hopefully, this feature will be improved in the future.
