Home & business 2023 software issue

I purchased the home & business 2023 filing software but can't install because my Mac book is too old to update to the latest OS software to install the turbo tax software so either there is a work around or can I be refunded for my purchase? My Mac book os 11.9 big sierra (2014 Mac book pro)

If your older Mac does not meet the system requirements for the 2023 desktop software you can seek a refund for the fee you paid, and look for some other software or a paid tax pro to help you with your return.  There is not a "work around" if your OS does not meet the system requirements.

And....what about your 2024 return?    It is too late to use online TurboTax for a 2024 return, so you need the desktop download for 2024 too, unless you seek other software or local paid tax help.   Online software for 2024 is no longer available.    Only 2025 software will be available ---sometime in early to mid December.
