Do I need to reload turbo 2015 to read past files?

I am using 2016 Turbo Priemer.  When I try to load an older 2015 file it does not work.  thanks

Hi, 

You would need to install the TurboTax 2015 software to open last year's file. If you purchased TurboTax 2015 from our website TurboTax.com, you should be able to find the 2015 software download link here:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/commerce/account/secure/login.jsp?pagecontext=download
