How can I confirm that my epayment for 2018 is scheduled?

I filed my taxes in March, and selected electronic payment, but the payment hasn't gone yet.  Trying to confirm the selection, but it doesn't show on the downloaded tax forms.

Are you saying that you  asked for Direct Debit by the taxing authority ( IRS and/or State ) and after all this time I has not been affected?

If so please call the taxing authority --IRS /State.   TurboTax just transmits the information and cannot do anymore.

I’m trying to confirm that I actually selected Direct Debit. The downloaded forms don’t contain that information the way they did in past years.

My suggestion is till the same, I cannot see your return -- Have asked TTs to help

To review previously-entered bank account info, simply revisit the File section in TurboTax and it will tell you exactly what information you entered.

It is not abnormal for taxes not to be charged yet, a few times it took a few days as everyone lists 4/15 as the payment date. As long as your returns were in fact accepted and you checked the status of your returns and you filled out the file section correctly with accurated direct debit info, give it 2-3 days at most before being concerned.

There are several "ifs" in your answer, and that was what I was trying to confirm. I finally found my answer by going to the "amend my return" route, which allowed me to see the previous tab to print the forms.  I had to select the option to print ALL forms and TurboTax worksheets.  the coversheet that was then included in the download showed the efile direct debit options.  Not easy to get to.  TT should fix that next year.

There was no “file” option. The only download option did not include the cover letter or instructions, only the federal and state forms. The file option finally became available after selecting “amend my return.”

review and or file should still be there even after you have filed.  I'm not sure what tabs you are seeing. Could you have possibly saved your return after choosing amend prior?

@bdavy92960 You "should" find the info you're looking for on the first page of your TurboTax PDF return(s).  The Electronic Filing Instructions page includes your selections for method and date of direct debit.  See the instructions in the TT FAQ linked below.

As a side note, if you failed to enter a direct debit date, the IRS will debit the account on or shortly after 4/15/2019.

@bdavy92960 Oh, now I see that your PDF didn't include the Electronic Filing Instructions sheet.  Sorry to be redundant, and glad you've found the solution.
