Hi I used a new email address to file my tax returns this year. Turbo tax has held them for 48 hours and not tactually filed them. Is there a way to remove that?

you may be able to login to intuit.com and change your email there.  I was asked if I had the same email, but that was only bec I had to pay for the state.  If I hadn't had to pay it would not have asked about my email.  

However when you say it is held for 48 hours.   In the past, I have had it take a day or 2 before I got an email that said I had sucessfully filed.  You should be able to see if it was accepted or not by going back to the filing part of the program.   
Also search email address and see if there is somewhere you can change it, if you didn't try this already.

I suspect the user may be asking about a situation in which TurboTax is concerned that a filed return may not be from the actual person, so they hold the return 48 hours giving the user time to cancel if it's not their return.
