Hi, I paid tax directly to the state of CA through their EDD website, since I registered. How do I incorporate that in my CA tax filing on TT so I dont pay tax twice?

If it's tax for the EDD, then it doesn't count toward your state income tax (FTB).  It's not reported on your return.

Since it doesn't count against your state income tax liability, it's not reported on your 540.

If it was tax you paid toward your 2018 liability:

1.  Click Federal on the left-hand side menu.

2.  Click Deductions & Credits across the top.

3.  Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid and click Show more.

4.  Click Start or Revisit by Estimated Tax Payments.

Click State estimated taxes for 2018 to enter the interview.

Thanks!! But this is not Estimated Tax. This is the official Household Employment Tax that was calculated by EDD and I was sent a bill for it. Would I add it the same way?
