Help options with Premier

I just submitted my taxes (and they were accepted by the IRS and State), but I had a few minor questions. I tried using the robo help and got nowhere. I checked the forums and found nothing that answered my questions. Is there a help option for minimal assistance, or does asking for a support call automatically kick you into the higher cost Premier Live level?

But this forum is only live today for newbies, right? I am a newbie but filed a few days ago before this forum event was announced. If I file with TurboTax next year, and have a question, there is no live option without going Premier Live?

No, this forum is not for today. You can post your question in this forum whenever you have questions and one of your experts would assist you with your tax questions, regardless of which type of product you use.

I was able to download my interest/dividends from my brokerage, but not my stock sales--why

Seems like you shouldn't have to do 2 separate downloads--TT should do everything at once

Your brokerage should combine everything into one statement for you and then it would download all together.  You should reach out to them to do that before next year.

I looked at my 1099 from my Broker--everything is on one statement

TT will not even get me to the screen to start the import process-this has never happened before in the many years I have used TT

It's possible the import for the rest of your transactions may not be available even if you are able to download a consolidated 1099-B.

 

If you have no uncovered transactions, you can enter the Box A and Box D summary totals.
