Help, I need to file by mail this years due to having to fill out a 4852. I have already done this, all I need to do is print- it's not letting me until 2/25. Why?

Why is it not letting me print out the progress I have already started? There is not one to talk to. I need to understand. It says avail to file by mail on 2/25/21, i started this return last weekend.

You will need to wait until 02/25/2021 when the Form 4852 is available to print and mail.

Okay, that’s what I gathered. Will the return itself be able to be printed so I can mail it to the IRS?

Yes, you will have to print the tax return which will include the form 4852 that is mailed to the IRS.

You have to sign and date the federal tax return Form 1040 on page 2 of the form before mailing.

Thank you! I just needed the clarification. I’ve never filed my mail before or even used a form like this.
