Health Insurance through spouse

I am self-employed and my husband will be adding me to his health insurance.  We file separately and have completely separate finances and a prenup.  Can I claim the amount I have to pay to him to cover the increase to his employer-sponsored health insurance?

Health Insurance through spouse

No.  Your husband is already receiving a deduction for the full amount that he is paying for the health insurance.  You taking a deduction as well would be double dipping.
