And if I do report the food from the company, will it get correctly taxed if I put it under miscellaneous or and other income, or should I include that in Box 1 for the W-2? If I over report for good measure the value of the food, would that cause New Jersey or and the IRS to give me a larger refund than I may should be getting? I don't want to cheat anyone.
