Yes, I put in for a call back and the rep told me its 100% just a processing error and will be fixed on February 3rd. Hopefully it's only up from here!
I got this message this morning too. My return sat in pending from1/24 until 3:30 am this morning and then gave this error code.
Yep, me too, actually. The specific reasoning TurboTax's auto-bot gave me was:
To fix this error try the following: This return cannot be electronically filed at this time due to a processing error that will be corrected on February 3, 2022. On or after February 3, 2022 open the rejected return, review it for errors, and resubmit the return for electronic filing.
Just don't know if it's a TurboTax processing failure or an IRS processing failure. I guess it wouldn't matter either way, but I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this, so that way they'll know it isn't an isolated issue.
As far as I know, based on what the error told me to do, everything is in order. The math adds up.

I am getting this message also. How did you correct it. Any help would be greatly appreciated .
Error message F8962-006-01 is a code from the IRS to explain the rejection. It does refer to Form 8962, which reconciles the Advanced Premium Tax Credit from your Form 1095-A.
Our information for this code is "This return cannot be electronically filed at this time due to a processing error that will be corrected on February 3, 2022. On, or after February 3, 2022, open the rejected return, review it for errors, and resubmit the return for electronic filing."
The IRS just began accepting e-filed returns on Jan 24th and this early in the season it is not uncommon for there to be updates, however it is well past February 3rd. Please step through the 1095-A area in your return again, now that the updates should be in place. This is in the Federal return, under Deductions and Credits, then Medical. When you refile, it should be accepted.
If you have a different reject code, please let us know as this will help in determining the reason.
I have spoken to a few advisors regarding this issue. I have deleted and refiled my return 3 more times and every time when turbo fills out 8862 they for some reason fill it out wrong . When I try to fix the wrong info it won't let my change it. I have unfortunately decided to give up and use another online service to file my return, which was accepted first try.
