Code 570 means the return is under review and code 971 means the IRS will send you a notice regarding the delay.

They will be sending you a notice to explain the delay.

Called found out irs didn't get earning verification  from my ex employer. I have myw2 from them to. Bummer I think it sux because on they messed up on there end either or.
