I couldn’t fix it, and Support was not helpful at all on the phone so I ended up filing by mail.

issue was resolved by switching to TT online.

@alimdeeb Did you have to pay again to use TT online? I’ve already bought TT Desktop.

I just got this message. 

I can't do the workaround which is to switch from desktop to turbotax online because I had already switched away from turbotax online due to an unrelated error that prevented my filing (namely Form 4562/Depreciation and Amortization Not Ready), and now when I try to switch back to turbotax online, it says the "connection is broken".
