I am a bit lost on this site. I have TurboTax Deluxe, desktop version. I really would love to talk to a live person about questions regarding my child's college, tuition, plan 529 disbursements, etc.
I can't seem to find how I could get this support, or upgrade to TT Live. Would I just have to pay for a whole new product? Already paid alot for the version I have now.

You can talk to customer support if you have the desktop software, but you cannot talk to the "Live" experts. Those experts are only available to help when you have the online "Live" software. Or post your questions here in the user forum for help. You cannot upgrade from desktop to online Live. They are different products.

thanks. calling in to that support can answer tax questions? or is that just for product technical support?
You can get various kinds of support----when you request help you need to explain what you need in the request. But do not expect an extended conversation with a CPA.
