Franchise Tax board letter

Hi there, I received a letter from the Franchise tax board regarding my 2019 tax returns that I filed with turbo tax. The letter states that they made an adjustment to my California taxable income due to that they disallowed the deduction for the wages we subtracted on our schedule CA (540) California Adjustment-Residents.And that as a California resident, all our wages are taxable, including those wages earned outside of California. Which I know we did not have any wages earned from outside of California. They are proposing we pay an additional $3,251.52
