#2) under Federal Taxes -> Wages & Income there is a topic called "Canadian Registered Pension Income" in the Retirement Plans and Social Security subject on the "Your 2025 Income Summary". If you go to this page there are problems. I don't need an entry here but if I delete the "blank" entry I cannot continue with doing something.
Try this, if there is an entry, delete it; hit continue; then from the summary screen go into the Canadian Registered Pension Income" subject. You cannot continue without adding something. Not sure why I got this but the program is looking the form/worksheet "Certain Canadian Registered Retirement Plans Worksheet"
ection/Page: FEDERAL TAXES --> Deductions & Credits --> "Let's make sure your 2024 federal return info is right"
I can't reproduce the issue. What I can tell you is that the page I was at summarizes several items one of which is "State and local income tax". I didn't use my state and local income tax but used my sales tax instead (didn't owe any state taxes which is not what TurboTax recommends). On the summary page it would be nice to see a reference that mentioned it.
example: "State and Local Income Tax OR Sales Tax".
Wish I could be more helpful but unfortunately wasn't able to find the questionable line again.
For the Canadian Registered Pension Income, after you click the trash can icon to delete the blank entry, don't click Continue. Instead, go back to Federal Taxes and select another area in which to work. The Canadian Pension should be removed from your return.
