I can't reproduce the issue. What I can tell you is that the page I was at summarizes several items one of which is "State and local income tax". I didn't use my state and local income tax but used my sales tax instead (didn't owe any state taxes which is not what TurboTax recommends). On the summary page it would be nice to see a reference that mentioned it.
example: "State and Local Income Tax OR Sales Tax".
Wish I could be more helpful but unfortunately wasn't able to find the questionable line again.
