Form K-40H. This is telling me enter dependents name but when I do it says there are too many characters. Not sure what to do here?

Why cant I get past this step?

Please shorten the name from the end, at the right, to 20 characters, as the tax authority will be matching the first characters against the Social Security number. Sometimes the state forms do not allow as many characters as the federal form that it copies.
