Form 8915-F carryover to 2023 and now 2024

I took a Covid19 disaster distribution in 2020 and paid the taxes on 2020, 2021 and 2022 tax returnes.

While preparing my 2024 taxes i found out that the form 8915-F was included on my 2024 return so i went back to my 2023 return only to see form 8915-F included on my 2023 filed return. 

After reading discussion here i learned that you can delete form 8915-F  by following steps Tax tools - tools - delete form. These steps work on my 2024 return which i did not file but now i do want to amend my 2023 return get my refund back but the same steps of Tax tools - Tools will not give me option of deleting form 8915-F.

Any help on deleting the form 8915-F on 2023 return which was carried over from 2020 to 2023 return for what ever reason. would be appreciated.

If Form 8915-F (or any other form)  is not a new or changed form due to your amendment,

do not attach it to your mailed 2023 Form 1040-X.

Also, do not include your old 1040 nor your revised 1040 because the Form 1040-X reflects any changes there and becomes your new tax return.
