Form 8839 will not delete even after it says it has been deleted. What can I do other than clear and start over?

I have deleted the form dozens of times and it pops back up again. I reloaded the darn program on a new pc and redid the taxes and when I went to file the form popped up again and won't delete. I am sure we have an adoption credit, but we did not adopt last year. I have spent about 12 hours just trying to get rid of this form so I can send my taxes with no resolution. Many others are having the same problem and they aren't getting help either. I sent a copy of my taxes in to Turbo Tax for them to look at and I never got any help.

Form 8839 won't delete if you have a carryover from years pervious. If you delete the carryover maybe you could delete the form but I worry you may loose your carryover. I just printed it up after getting no helpful advice whatsoever.

Form 8839 will not delete even after it says it has been deleted. What can I do other than clear and start over?

I've "deleted" the 8839 and the worksheet that goes with it a million times. The system still asks me to enter the name of the child, NO child was adopted on 2021. I've been on the phone with customer support multiple times.

It's been weeks trying to figure this out, please help!

I wish I had another option for you, I know how frustrating it is. The only way I was able

to resolve the issue was with an intuit rep.

Good luck.

This is true about almost anything I've been told to do or "try" by Turbotax customer service and support experts.  In this case, I want to remove a state "qualified health insurance premium" tax credit worksheet.  For the sake of a 121.00 deduction, I will be getting back an $1800.00 refund months later--this year, it will probably be SEVERAL months later, per recent news stories--because I am forced to paper file.  Deleting the forms and worksheets associated with that tiny deduction which triggers the mandatory paper filing doesn't work, and so I get the "you must paper file" message--AGAIN.

Why do these help posts simply repeat what has already been told to people?  They've already TRIED that or they wouldn't be weeping and tearing their hair out here, in the forum where PAYING CUSTOMERS  still have to plead for help from other PAYING CUSTOMERS.

The customer care experts--software, CPA, and general--have yet to tell me, after about 7 hours on the phone--one thing I did not already know, and I have explained many things to them!  Common sense, hours of experimentation and hours of Googling are the only way around bullsh-t like this.

REALLY, TURBOTAX?  I will never use it again and I hope none of you fellow sufferers do so, either.

Nice to know someone is trying to help this poor person.  It will be doubly amazing if you actually do.  After that please work on the 2 massive glitches I've spent days trying to fix.
