Form 8606 for Backdoor Roth IRA?

If I do not have any IRA.

And created a new IRA with 7000 and moved it to a Roth IRA for backdoor IRA.

Do I need to file a Form 8606?
I went through TurboTax and finished, and in my pdf I do not see a Form 8606.

Do I need to answer yes in section below? But I do not have any IRA prior to 2025.

Did you have any nondeductible IRA contributions to your traditional IRA from 2024 or prior years?
Nondeductible contributions are tracked on Form 8606 in your prior year returns.

Form 8606 for Backdoor Roth IRA?

Yes, there should be a Form 8606 created and filed with your return that shows the $7000 non-deductible Traditional IRA contribution made for 2025 on line 1.

When you go through the Deductions and Credits > Retirement and Investments > Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions section of your return to enter your non-deductible Traditional IRA contribution, the Form 8606 will be created.

Review the steps for doing this in the following TurboTax help article.  Pay attention to Step 1 for the version of TurboTax that you are using.

Form 8606 for Backdoor Roth IRA?

its strange, in my original filing it didn't generate the 8606, i have to click have you contribute to 2024 ira -> yes, in order for the 8606 to appear.

8606 line 1,3,5,13,16,17 are filed with 7000 -- > is this correct?
