Form 8562 for Schedule E Line 18

I'm just trying to access the subject form in my returns/documents for Years 2023 - 2018.

I'm using the latest version of the desktop TurboTax on my iMac.

Does anyone have any insight as to how to access this form (8562).

Thanks in advance.

Steve

If you completed your prior returns using TurboTax Desktop, you will find your tax files saved on your hard drive. They will need to be opened in the software for the appropriate tax year.

If you completed those returns on TurboTax Online, you can log in to your account and view your prior year returns from the Tax Home page under Your returns and documents.

If you have saved PDF copies of your tax return to your hard drive, you will be able to find copies of the forms you need within the document if it was filed with the return.

Lastly, if you don't have copies of the tax files or the PDF returns, you can request a copy of your return from the IRS by calling or making a request online.

Neither the Document for 2023 or the PDF version that I saved last year have the form I'm looking for (Form 8562) embedded in the file.  What I'm really looking for are all of the assets and their depreciation that I've claimed associated with a rental property.

TurboTax creates a Depreciation Report that lists all assets and depreciation for each activity on your return.

Go to Forms and find Schedule E in the left column. Under that, find "Depr Report." Click the form name to open it in the large window. The print button is at the bottom of the open form.

Note that Form 8582 reports Passive Loss Limitations (not depreciation) and may not be included if you had no passive losses.
