A few weeks ago when accessing the 401K,Pension Plan Withdrawals section I was notified that:
This section is unavailable while we work on updates for recent tax law changes.
There was an option to be notified when the forms were available. I signed up and a few days ago received and email that the forms are NOW AVAILABLE. But the form that it said became available was "Form 3903" moving expenses which is not associated with Retirement Income.
Today (12/27/2025) I attempted to access and was once again told that it was unavailable but signing up for notifications points once again to MOVING EXPENSES. I didn't move and don't need that form.

Many forms are expected after January 6. Check then.
I had the same thing happen and spent 20 minutes chatting with the AI bot who could only keep looping me back to the statement that turbo tax does not offer the feature to notify you when a section is ready. If that is the case why do they even offer that option as a link. UGH every year it is something with TT. I get that there were a lot of changes for them to incorporate but this is something totally unrealted to that. It is a glitch in the actual software. Seems like that could be an easy fix. Take it off in the next update if it is not going to work. I have no need to know that the moving expenses form is now avail.
Considering its cost, I really expect better from Turbo Tax. I mean, I know that there are a lot of tax changes, but they could at least tell us when the forms for IRA and Pension distribution will be available instead of pointing to a form that has absolutely no connection. "Moving Expenses"......Really?
January 7th now. How much longer will it be before we can get the forms? I've been using TT since 1985, but I'm not 100% sure about next year
There is an update this morning after a few weeks quiet, which opened up charitable donations for Schedule A. 1099B/R still pending. Also got my state program by the promised date.
No one here knows when what will come but it will be in the next few weeks. If trying to do estimates for Q4 ES you can use forms mode for 1099R / 8606 if familiar with that.
The 3903 email signup is a bug I flagged with the moderators, annoying but not critical, just check in the app periodically.
Other multi-decade users have commented the block on these sections is unprecedented, hampered year-end planning and communication has been lacking.
Clearly, Turbotax is not releasing the sections until the forms changes and calcs are certified for filing and I'm sure the shutdown has delayed the IRS side.
We'll see what happens next few weeks - but I remain optimistic that Turbotax will come thru.
Good luck.
