Turbotax has some problems, they should have an option to let me check box A on 2210 and ask for a waiver- it doesn't. I owe according to TT a whole $20.00 penalty, but I just as soon make the Feds check it out and send me a bill or maybe say it's not worth sending him a bill.
I also ask a person at TT on phone and showed them that the quarterly vouchers 1040-ES that print has a large printout over the whole top page that says "Form Not Final" and over the actual 1040-ES it prints over the whole form "do not file" in large gray letters. The phone person told me it would go away when I actually filed to mail in. So I did that print to actually file taxes by mail and it still prints over top of the 1040-ES.
So 2 errors, won't let me modify 2210 Box A in Part 2 and print error on 1040-ES. Yes I am up to date on software.
Haven't tried changing Part 2 and checking box A on the form itself yet, shouldn't have to do that anyway.
Also, will really file electronically and won't pre pay by quarter anyway as it's a pain and I may have less income this year anyway.
Then another small problem is if you tell TT to print form 2210 PDF, it only does page 1

1. For the 2210, you must select YES to penalty waiver question.
2. Please check forms availability here for the ES to be finalized. You can come back through the year and make adjustments as needed. You can make Payments.
