Thanks! I've tried to call but for some reason they wouldn't let me talk with a person unless I pay for a tax expert. And I guess in this case I need somebody from the tech support and not a tax adviser....
Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online? You mentioned 'Print Center' which is an online feature.
If so, in the left-side menu, go to Tax Tools > Tools, then 'Delete a Form' from the pop-up window. When the list of forms is displayed, delete Form 1116 and the worksheet. Then clear your Cache and Cookies and step through the Foreign Tax Credit interview again to let Form 1116 (and Form 1116 AMT) repopulate.
If you're using TurboTax Desktop, in FORMS, click on 'Open Form' and type in 'Form 1116'. Highlight it and 'Open Form'. In the entry line at the bottom (under 'Create new copy' type in 'Form 1116 AMT', then 'Add Form'. This should add the form to your return.
I'm using TT desktop. I've tried this steps but without any luck. The form is filled and if you open it explicitly you can see the data but otherwise it is not part of the return.
Have you tried contacting our support center? They can view your screen as you walk through what you're seeing and should be able to determine what is happening. With it being so close to the filing deadline the wait time will be an extended period but with all the options above not working it maybe the best option since they can view your screen with you to determine the problem.
