Filing with Non Resident Alien Wife

Hello,

I'm on H1B and I'm filing jointly for the first time with my wife who is a non resident alien on F1. I see that for 2024 there is a explicit box in Form 1040 to specify that my spouse is a non resident alien. I also see that Turbo Tax asks for this information when I provide information about my Wife. My question is can I E-file with the additional information or do I still need to paper file and attach a statement for the IRS?
