Filing status

I am married but I have a dependent that I share with my ex husband  she is a disabled adult and I provide for her financially should I file HOH or MFS thanks

Filing status

If you were legally married at the end of 2025, your filing status choices are married filing jointly with your spouse or married filing separately.   Head of Household is not an option unless you lived apart from your spouse for at least the last six months of 2025 and the the qualifying dependent lived with you.
