Filing Status for Separated

My spouse and I have been separated (living in different houses) 1.5yrs, my our common children have been living with me 100% of the time. We have not file divorce yet. Do I file as Head of Household? Or Married but filing separately? Thank you!

If you did not live with your spouse at any time during the last six months of 2022 and you have dependents to claim you can file your tax return as Head of Household.
